Our target group are children and adolescents

Who withdraw from all other offers of help or whose social pedagogical approaches no longer guarantee the stabilization of their lives.

But also young people, whose way of life is characterized by aggressiveness, depressiveness, continuous refusal to perform, self-harm and danger to others, find a suitable and beneficial setting here.

The personal and professional orientation and the wide range of our facilities enable children and adolescents to be accommodated with diverse social, emotional, cognitive and motor deficits between the ages of 12 and 17

The young people live together in a house in a family-like setting.

The small group size and high staff key are just as important as single rooms and retreats. We consider premises and equipment from a trauma pedagogical point of view.

Everyday life offers young people a safe environment as well as reliable caregivers who are at their side as competent and reliable companions.

The seclusion of the houses and the language barrier create a bounded social space. This enables appropriate control and positive guidance of the adolescent. In this environment, the young people can relax and receive new food for thought.

We offer childcare options in a small group, in a family-like situation or in a 1: 1 care to meet the needs of the young person.

We have three care centers located at:

Makri House - The care center is located by the sea in the Greek region of Thrace. The nearest village Makri with currently about 900 inhabitants belongs to the municipality of Alexandroupolis

Doriskos House - The care center is located in the Thracian region of Greece in the village of Doriskos. The village has about 300 inhabitants and is located in an agricultural area with many farmers.

Katerini House - The care center is located in the city of Katerini and belongs to the Central Macedonia region. The distance to the second largest city of Greece, Thessaloniki, is almost 70 km, the sea is only 6 km away.

We focus

On individual pedagogical offers with a high level of care. Sometimes only one measure abroad helps to change negative behavior. Supported by educators and trained staff, the children and young people get a chance for a fresh start here.
